The Westbrook area has been fortunate to have built a Wellness Center available to adults in the surrounding communities. The Wellness center is open every day 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The facility is an adult membership wellness center, members must be 18 years old or older to belong. No children will be allowed in the facility. Dixie Severson is shown at left in the spacious aeorbics room.
Upon joining the center, members receive an electronic membership card that allows them access to the facility. The membership card will allow them access to both the north door and the door to the wellness center room. There is a $10.00 fee for all cards that are not returned to the wellness center should you decide not to be a member or if you lose your card. This is a secured facility.
Membership fees are $20.00/month per person and all fees must be prepaid. Guest /Trial cards can be purchased for $20.00 and $5.00 will be refunded when your card is returned. These cards are good for 5 visits to the wellness center. Once a membership is purchased, it is non-transferable. GIFT CERTIFICATES are always available! Give the gift of health to your friend or loved one this year. Come and enjoy the facilities during the holiday season and see how easy it is to 'get fit'!
New Weight-Loss Challenges are carried on through out the year. Over 464 "Community-pounds" were lost collectively last year during a weight-loss challenge that brought in new members as well as challenged those who have been involved previously. The "Blue-Print for Health" remains a popular program for those insured with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. As long as the member clocks into the wellness center a total of eight times/month; they qualify for a $20 monthly reimbursement from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota. There are 75 active members who regularly qualify for this reimbursement. Why not you? Talk to DixieSeversonabout this and other incentive programs at the Wellness Center.
